Mission Statement

Annie Kim, Elena Kim , Laura Hong and Patrick Cambria- Group D chose the second project. Our mission is to bring awareness about FilmAid International through our respected disciplines. When deciding what to do we as a group threw around ideas and ways to tell the community about the great work FilmAid is doing. We decided to use our majors to come up with an idea that would help get the message out in a fun, fashionable, graphic and digital way.

The answer.. tote bags. Our idea was simple, basically make a walking advertisement. But instead of blatantly putting FilmAids logo on a tote bag and handing them out we decided to use the internet and make it a bit more interesting with QR codes. A QR code is short for Quick Response code and is basically a barcode that you can scan with your smart phones (after downloading the free application). Upon scanning then codes you are brought to different parts of FilmAids website (Hope) East Africa (Power), Haiti (Change), Thailand (Inspire). Each word hope, power, change, inspire are empowering and motivational words bringing a positive outlook on difficult circumstances.
Inside the tote bag is a calendar with filmAid's events and important dates, a book mark is also the link to our blog.

We hope this will make an impact and bring awareness to the community about FilmAid.
